Now Offering Service in Russia...

 Turkey’s first private distribution firm is now expanding its service networks abroad.  After setting up service centers in the Turkish Republic of Cypress, Ukraine and Romania we are now in Russia as well. Our aim is to have 1,000 centers ready for service and at least 10 percent of the market share by the year 2012.

After a detailed setup period in Russia we have become the first mass-distribution service in Russia. Our goal is to a ten percent share in the billion dollar distribution market in Russia by 2012. We use technology to our full advantage  in all our operations.  We offer registered and unregistered distribution, moto-couriers and express delivery services in Russia now. Despite such a short time having passed since joining the Russian distribution sector we have recieved much interest from local firms. We aim to have distribution centers’ numbers reach 100 by the end of 2009, 350 by 2010, and 1,000 by 2011.

For the first time in the sector, packages carried by couriers are tracked and recorded by GPS technology from origin to destination. Using this system, processes such as delivery, visitation and return can be controlled remotely. Using  cell phones, GPS recievers, special programs and software developed by our own Research and Development department the couriers can relay information to the central branch about the situation of any delivery as well as create reports automatically.

 

Starting in 1993 up to the current day we have been proud to provide service in the mass distribution sector and bring new perspective to the sector. In recent years we have had the opportunity to use our success at home to carry business abroad, launching service abroad, most recently ın Russia. In terms of surface area, Russia is one of the largest countries on earth and with each passing day comes to need a reliable distribution firm more and more. Despite having only just begun service in Russia, we have met heavy demand. Our hope is to reach 1,000 service centers and 10% of the market share in Russia by the year 2012.

Participating in the “Will you be our Agent” Convention

On December 18th-21st 2008 we offered franchising opportunities  at CNR convention center’s 6th franchising and brand-franchising “Will You Be Our Agent?”  convention, coming together with those who wish to join the Aktif Ileti family and benefit from the many available opportunities.

Our starting franchising price is between 1,000 and 50,000 dollars, and the investment budget  begins at 10,000 to 50,000 dollars.

Celebrating Our 15th Year

As Turkey’s first private  mass distribution firm we’re preparing to say hello to our 16th year. From our beginning in Istanbul in 1993 to today, we continue to succeed and keep moving  ahead.  With 228 agencies in Turkey, The Turkish Republic of Cyprus,  Ukraine, Romania and Russia,  we’re knocking  on an average of 2.5 million door every month as we grow through technology, innovations in the sector,  and commitment to quality service .

It is because of this dedication to quality service that we continue our leadership in the distribution sector not only in Turkey but abroad.  By combining a focus on customer satisfaction with the possibilities of ever-evolving technology we have come to a top position in the sector by offering innovation  after innovation.

As necessitated by our ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management Certificate we make our every move according to our ideal of service quality, whether it be sending, pickup or delivery of a package.  Wıth our customer service department, operation teams and and call centers  we can offer continous service.

As a leader and founder in the sector we recognize our responsibility towards the development of science, education, culture, and art. In the spirit of this awareness we have recently completed our ninth year of the annual “Little Friend” school supplies campaign, donating to school children in less privileged regions of Turkey.

In order for packages to reach their intended destination quickly and safely, we have signed our name onto many firsts in regards to our advanced technological infrastructure. Aktif Ileti Now Using GPS Tracking!

Aktif Ileti is proud to announce that for the first time, field operations in delivery will be tracked using Global Positioning Systems (GPS).

What is possible using GPS?
Now, when a customer sends a package, the delivery can be tracked by satellite on a numerical map according to city, province, or street. Thanks to the GPS tracking, we can be sure that packages delivered and yet undelivered alike are being taken to exactly the correct location.

As well as providing customers with updates on the status of the deliveries, we will now also be able to provide map locations and other data for all transactions.

We can track our deliverymen's performance using our own programs integrated into the satellite tracking system as well as use the data gathered from those systems to find and perfect the optimum delivery routes.

We continue to use new technology to transport, improve, and make a difference in service quality.

The Aktif Ileti Family All Together in Antalya...

Staff and employees of one of the first and most successful companies in the sector, Aktif Ileti, came from a total of 201 service centers in 81 provinces as well as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus converged at Antalya's Porto Bello Hotel on January 18, 2008 for an evaluation meeting.

Opening speeches given by Board of Management President Yusuf Kose as well as our General Director, Kamuran Alpural, emphasized the role of employee/staff effort, skill and dedication in the position of success that Aktif Ileti has reached today.

At the meeting, the agencies were evaluated for their year 2007 performance and awarded gold, silver and bronze medals for their efforts. Agencies that reached their fifth and tenth years of service were awarded plaques of recognition by the management.

During later stretches of the meeting, all the personnel were brought up to speed on progress in the technology field as well as overall unit progress with various presentations.

During a warm and friendly company gala later that evening, it was apparent that our unity and teamwork would be the cornerstone to success in the new year 2008.

Aktif Ileti, with its respected name and history of firsts in the sector continues to pioneer new frontiers with the same energy and excitement it began with over 15 years ago!

At the 'Bayim olur musun?' Expo held at CNR Expo Center on December 13-16th, our company got the chance to meet potential franchising investors from all over Turkey. "Hello summer!" Boat Trip

In order to say hello to sunny summer days after the intense cold of the winter season and to enjoy a starry night on the Bosphorus the Aktif Family working at the headquarters met on the tourboat Şanzelize. Far from the stress of the workplace, a greeting cocktail kicked off the evening and was followed by open buffet and lots of fun.

Inter-Agency Distribution Performance Campaign

the Inter-Agency performance campaign organized in March of this year has drawn to a close. Awards were distributed by our respected General Manager, Kamuran Alpural, to the agencies that came first in each respective category at a ceremony held in our building. Following this, lunch was shared by all and our guest agencies were hosted in İstanbul overnight.

Agents' Meeting...

Aktif İleti which has carried the name of Turkey's biggest collective distribution firm since 1993, held an Agent's meeting in january of 2007 at İstanbul Sürmeli Hotel in order to make a general assesement of the previous year and share plans and goals for the upcoming one. The General Management personnel along with the regional managers and all agents participated in the 2-day meeting. The meeting began with the sharing of the company's new image and continued along the agenda with the general managements' section presentations. Problems that are encountered in the daily functioning of the company were discussed and newly founded units were introduced. after our guest speaker touched on the subject of agency-focused operation and profits a banquet and cocktail was given to end the evening and start off the year with some fun and new motivation for all personnel.

We Renewed our ISO Quality 9001-2000 Certificate...

Aktif İleti, which has pioneered many firsts in the sector has renewed its ISO Quality Directions System 9001-2000 Certificate since last recieving it in 2003. Our Quality Directions Policy allows us to continue offering the same quality in every part of the process from the reception of the package to the delivery and even to the reports. With this certificate we continue to give our customers our international quality standard and understanding along with our commitment to striving for improvement.

The Stationary Aid Campaign With a Personalized Letter

In 2000 wıth input from the company body we embarked upon the SAPL campaign, which quickly spreading by e-mail reached amazing proportions within an 8 year period. The aim of this campaign is to reach out to children of families experiencing financial difficulties, most of whom occupy villages throughout Turkey, that are being educated in public elementary schools and provide them with resources to aid their studies. This campaign is traditionally organized at the beginning of each school year and to this day has provided 156,000 of our little friends with aid packets. The packets collected from you are not sent to any "authority" but to the children personally, just as we try to deliver the thank-you letters the students have written to the senders. it is our social conscienciousness, of course, which prompts us to do do these services at no charge.
